I’ve seen Death depicted as a card dealer or other sort of gambler, a guy in a suit, a farmer, a robed apparition, and any other number of things, but this? This has to be the best Death I’ve seen yet. An old seductress saying “hey kid, don’t you wanna die in a trench for a government that doesn’t give a fuck about you, just like your dear old dad?” This goes hard as fuck.
Israel today murdered the wife and two children of Al Jazeera’s Gaza Bureau Chief, Wael Al-Dahdouh. This comes after the US Secretary of State demanded that Al Jazeera ‘tone down’ its coverage of Israel’s mass slaughter of Palestinians. The killings echo the US’s missile strike on Al Jazeera’s Baghdad office during the 2003 invasion, which was a deliberate targeting that resulted in the death of journalist Tareq Ayyoub. Any journalists heroic enough to depict the horrors of American and Israeli imperialism are considered fair game.
I’ve been on a low dose both to stretch it out and because it’s given me atrophy, but while the doctor said a lower dose might help that, I’m still unfortunately experiencing symptoms (like UTIs, which I’m already prone to). I have two bottles of T left, but no more meds for the atrophy- it isn’t covered by my insurance, and even just one box of 8 pills is around $75, which I can’t afford at the moment. Anything helps, thank you
Every time I think I’m impressed with George Perez’s pencil work I find another two-page splash like this that just blows me away! And somuch going on at once! Awesome.
